Run time: 129 min. | Japan | Language: Japanese with English subtitles
A spinoff of the popular Death Note film and anime series, L: CHANGE THE WORLD is directed by Hideo Nakata (RINGU) and focuses on the character of super detective L (Ken'ichi Matsuyama reprising his role from the films).

L is recruited to save humanity from a deadly virus that wiped out a whole Thai village and his friend F. His opponents are K and a twisted environmental group who aim to “cleanse” the world of its excess population with the virus. L is joined by two young children—an English-speaking boy who is the only survivor of the virus infected Thai village, and a Japanese school girl who is the child of the professor who developed the virus antidote.
